About

Dr. Shahid Amjad completed his PhD from the School of Ocean Sciences, University of Wales (U.K). He is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Environment and Energy Management at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) Karachi. Dr. Amjad served for a period of 5 years (2001-2006) as an elected member of the Legal and Technical Commission (LTC) of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) Jamaica. He was the Director General, National Institute of Oceanography, Karachi from 1996 -2004. Dr. Amjad has supervised PhD / M.Phil. He actively participates in industrial environmental impact assessments. He has over 30 research publications to his credit, in national and international journals of high repute.
