About

Dr. Manzoor Ahmed Sanjrani is an Environmentalist and academic with over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi. His research focuses on wastewater treatment, waste management, and sustainable development, with over 40 international publications in reputed journals such as Waste Management & Research, Biotechnology and Bioengineering and Membrane water treatment. His scholarly impact is reflected through his indexed profiles on Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, and Web of Science. Dr. Sanjrani has held key positions including Director ORIC and Head of Department of Development Studies at HANDS Institute of Development Studies, where he established new academic programs and research frameworks. He also serves on multiple editorial boards and review panels for international journals. He has been recognized with multiple honors, including inclusion in the AD Scientific Index World Scientist Rankings (2024, 2025 & 2026), the Excellence Performance Award (2023), and two Chinese Government Scholarships for his postgraduate studies. A multilingual scholar and seasoned educator, Dr. Sanjrani has taught and collaborated across Pakistan and China, and visited over 28 countries in pursuit of academic and professional exchange. His vision integrates environmental stewardship with sustainable development, aiming to bridge research, innovation, and practical impact for a resilient future.
