Role of IoT in Logistics Concerning SMEs in Third World Countries

The aim of this case study is to demonstrate how the implementation of IoT (Internet of Things) helps an organization to improve their businesses, identify their problems or issues and helps to achieve their goals. The chosen businesses are Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Logistics industries operating in underdeveloped or emerging market mainly Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

The case study focuses on the processes of SME Logistics companies and problem faced by them, and how they can eliminate those problems with the help of IoT and enhance their business performance.

Case is developed by the help of research papers, articles, expert advice, online data, companies’ websites, Survey, and interviews and feedback from management of certain companies.
